AP Exam: First Impressions
After taking a practice AP Exam today in class, I've gotten some more insight on what taking this test will be like. Although it's sort of nerve wracking at first, writing a timed essay wasn't too bad. The topic of the essay was 'exiles' and examples of positive and negative effects of exiles in literature. I chose to write about The Kite Runner, because I could remember lots of specific details from the book. Luckily, the book we had just finished in class worked for this prompt pretty well. Rereading an AP worthy book before I take the AP Exam is definitely something to consider; it would be reassuring to know I have a book I'm really familiar with.
